Quilting Marathon

Sandy and I loaded on her quilt first thing this morning (8am) and then she began to quilt it-this is a 90" x 90"
quilt that she paper pieced, each block is 30".  Note, this is also her first bed sized quilt to piece!
While Sandy was quilting away, I was working on using up the scraps from the Washington nursery!
This is the top I ended up with-I will be quilting this in the near future as my grand daughter's arrival is SOON!  (36" x 42")
Nine hours later and she has completed the quilt!!!
Isn't it grand to hit a goal?!
This quilt is her gift to a grandson that is getting married in a few weeks!

  1. Wow, that IS a marathon!!! I wonder if Sandy is sore today...!

The quilt for Aria is beautiful. That pattern really lets the lovely fabrics be the center of attention; very striking.
