Mother's Day Pleasures

After church, we managed to corral David long enough for a picture-this is our third year being together for Mother's Day!
The new edition of the Wasabi sock is completed!  On to the second!  It fits like a ...customized sock is supposed to fit!
Abigail and Marsel gave me a pedicure in the afternoon....talk about being spoiled!  I also enjoyed the 'over-bubbling' in the foot bath;  laughter is good medicine, too!
Isn't this a cool picture of the bubbles?!
I had a wonderful day filled with ph calls in between from the rest of my offsprings!

The socks are so nice. I've never knit any from the toe up. Might have to give it a try some time.

  4. Fabulous socks!
As for mother's day, I found out my wayward son who lives in Michigan was here all weekend. He called me on Mother's Day on the way home from the airport Sunday night to tell me what a great time he had in DC all weekend. Did he take the time to come see old Mom...of course not but he did see a great Wizards game. Kids....I had to laugh. He'll never live this one down. He claims he didn't know it was Mother's Day until he was on the plane home.
