A Home Body

I finished all the work yesterday so today I could put some attention to my studio!  I did some mending and then I loaded a new quilt on the frame!  This one was pieced by my neighbor, Millie, and her daughter.
I am trying a closely stitched meander with a pantograph.  I haven't tried that feature of this machine so there is a bit of a learning curve but I loaded it without incident this time!  I loaded the top on lengthwise so my stitching would echo the linear design of the piecing;  nice to have that option now with a   l o n g  frame!

Doctor's appointment, errands and a hair appointment will eat up time tomorrow;  I'm glad I had lots of time to savor the studio today!

  1. Those batiks are gorgeous. Your big ole machine is doing a great job. It's going to be stunning when it is done.

GLOWING WORK!

The two layer cake scrambled tops are finished!   The dimensions are 40 50".   I have the backing so they will be heading to the frame ...
