Farewells and Arrivals

Goodbye until later;  see you in the winter!
My nieces came to send me off with love, too.
The sky reflected my emotions beautifully.
I had several delays and lots of knitting time.  The socks for my grand daughter were finished and
so were we....we didn't get home until 3:30 am.
I had a bit of recuperation necessary to be my old self.

  1. Love the socks! I must be good to be home again and nice to know you'll be seeing the family again in just a few months.

  2. Such a cute color combo for the socks.

As much as you will miss your family, isn't it nice to be back among all of your things and sleep in your own bed? I always miss the routine of daily life when we travel.

  3. Welcome home! Traveling is always tiring, but 3:30 a.m. is beyond awful! Glad you had a good visit, made it home safely, and hopefully you are giving yourself time to recuperate the next couple of weeks!

  4. Sorry you had such a long trip home, but at least you were able to finish your socks! Looks like you had a wonderful visit and will see them again soon.

Thanks for taking the time to let me know you stopped by to read my blog!
