Flutterbies!

No, I'm not making fabric....I'm ironing the charm squares to some fusible web.
I cut them apart and matched up squares by twos and then pairs that I liked.
Then I ran the squares through the Accuquilt and learned I needed to make the fabric mirror images by placing the pairs right sides together!
Lesson learned.
There we go!
Oh, yes.  This is going to be a fun project.
I have to cut up the background for quilt blocks but that's for another day!

  1. Now isn't that clever! Those charm squares are to die for. What a pretty collection.

    1. There was a bit more waste than I like but worth it to see the finished block!

  2. Oh, that first deformed butterfly made me laugh! Thank you for sharing it. :)

This is going to be a pretty quilt...are the butterflies going to be appliquéd over pieces blocks, like the owl quilt?

SOME MORE BABY HATS

I added to the baby hat pile and even changed up the pattern with the finer yarn.  The one on the far left is really a pink;  I worked on it...
