I played around with this pattern to make another table runner instead of a larger quilt. I got all of the pieces cut and even pieced a few before I ran out of gas.
I started something new because I am happy to reveal the washed and dried kid's quilt
which has been added to the donation pile!
And the variation of the rail fence block turned into a really nice table runner to add to my pile! I am appreciating and not abusing my new energy level--I have hope for a semblance of normal again!
So nice to read that you have energy to do some things...but you are taking it easy as well. The kid's quilt is lovely and the table runner is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery exciting! I especially love the ombré greens of the quilt…very soothing. -Marsel
ReplyDeleteThose fabrics are going to make an adorable Christmas runner.
ReplyDeleteI love the fade on the children's quilt.
I didn't know that was called "rail fence" --- thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove both finishes!
ReplyDeleteI love that gradient green. The table runner is so cheerful. It would certainly brighten up a morning cup of coffee.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice quilt for donation. Bless you for doing that. I'm so glad that you're feeling more energenic. I've been praying for you and will keep right on.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
