I finished crocheting all of the blocks for the afghan!
It is wide and long!
And very warm!
Since is was 20* when we awakened on Sunday morning and stayed in the 20's until 2:00 when it was all the way up to 40*!
And it was that cold again last night.
But there is still work to do....all the ends need to be woven in AND I will be crocheting several rows around the whole. No, I don't know what stitch yet but I'll know when I start to experiment!
The Mister's brother and SIL took their trailer down to Florida to escape the cold and are freezing down there. At least they missed all this lovely ice but a tropical paradise they didn't get.
ReplyDeleteThe perfect time to crochet a blanket. Who cares if the ends are still hanging? It's warm!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
Good timing.
ReplyDeleteHope you haven't lost too much of your landscape plants. I know it hasn't been that cold down there for years.
Wonderful afghan! And it will keep you warm while you weave in ends. And how neat your Sea Horse is!!
ReplyDeleteI love the neutral colors of your afghan!! Looking forward to seeing it finished! Stay warm!!
ReplyDeleteOH, that is a gorgeous afghan! I'm glad you can actually enjoy it now even if it isn't totally finished! I'm sure it feels really nice and warm on your lap on these chilly days. It seems like we are always grabbing blankets around here no matter where we are sitting. It's just been so cold even in our warm house! We are SO ready for spring to be sprung! LOL.
