DREAMING

I have had some set-backs from the new medicine--I have quit taking it and am starting to feel tons better.  I am just not made to handle strong medicines, especially when I am allergic to the other three in that family of medicines!  I have learned to listen to my body and responded quicker this time so that it didn't require a hospitalization to realize I was in trouble!  Slowly getting back my energy and letting the pain subside--how is it that a medicine that is supposed to relieve arthritic pain made it 20x worse?!

Anyway, I did a lot of this while laying in bed.  I sure am hooked on the relaxation of paint by numbers!

  2. How gorgeous! A cabin at the beach sounds like the place to be right now. I'd like to skip over muddy March since we're already knee deep in it.
Sorry to hear about the meds. I can't tolerate most medicines either. I even break a Tylenol in half or take the kid's dose.

  3. Sorry to hear this! I am also one who has to watch the meds, it causes so many weird side effects for me, so it's not worth it. Hope you are better for the AQS show on Thursday!

  4. I've been going through new meds with my new primary doctor. We do have to 'listen' to our bodies!! I have gotten hooked on "painting" on my phone. It really is fun. Sending a hug! So glad you are feeling better!

  5. I'm so sorry about your struggle with the new meds. I quit taking a "new" med to me after a few months. It gave me horrendous nightmares and it didn't seem to be doing what it was supposed to either. I would wake up sobbing hysterically, (not like me at all), every night and just couldn't take it anymore.
The painting is gorgeous. I would absolutely love to live in a cabin like that year round. Tiny is good. If our weather weren't so severe (normally), in the winter, we would be living in our 5th wheel camper. This winter has been bizarre it's been so warm. It's supposed to be 76F tomorrow! In February! Crazy.
Praying for you to soon be 100% again. You have way too many things to play with. The painting was a great way to spend your down time.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

TURNING YARN TO A BLANKET

I didn't make it into the studio yesterday--so I reclined and started a new baby blanket;   the Grace blanket that Betsy has often made....
