A lot of cleaning outside took place--Bill taming the front garden and I can't wait to sit outside on the front porch and just watch the birds--more pics tomorrow! A bit of sewing happened. I have a ton of these string blocks to make so everyone finished means I can get closer to sewing the blocks together!
This afternoon we are going on a short hike --think of woods, a creed and some rock hunting!
Have a good time exploring the woods and the creek.
ReplyDeleteString blocks are one of my favorites. I have been neglecting my blue string block lately that are destined for a future Quilt of Valor. Looks like you have an excellent plan in place for your blocks.
ReplyDeleteI think I am the only person in the world that would never be tempted by a hike. Living in the woods and fighting off bugs and critters is not my idea of a good time anymore. I do it every day. There was a time I thought camping was cool but now....give me a hotel in the city please...lol. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great hike today!! I'm not familiar with the quilting "lingo" so don't know what string blocks are, but I do know that what you make with them will be amazing! Have a happy week ahead!! xo
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge hiker anymore because it tends to cause my back spasms to worsen but I do miss it. Your visit sounds like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
I love string quilts!
