IT'S ME AGAIN

Something to cheer me up;  I bought two new African Violets
for my kitchen windowsill.  And I do love the pop of color in here!
Another pop of color are these--my green beans are ripening
and we even had enough to pick for supper!
And who's counting but the cardigan has again been ripped out and is in its fourth rendering.  So far, it's good! lol  I am taking it while I go for blood work today. No, I have not had the iron infusion yet.  The insurance company keeps thinking of reasons to postpone it.  Why you ask?  Because they can and do! The doctor requested this back in February when the blood work was originally done but they took this long and now bloodwork is out of date!  No kidding!

  2. I love violets, too. It's hard to believe you have green beans already when stuff here is just starting to bloom! That's going to be a very pretty sweater; I love the color red. I hope your blood test went okay!

  3. I adore African Violets. I always had a couple on the windowsill before we got the cats. Mine eat them. I'm sorry to hear your insurance company is being a pain. Ours has been driving us crazy with this new Medicare prescription stuff. I've filled out so many forms and made so many calls it's ridiculous and I can't tell you the last time I even had a prescription. They want to fine me because they say I didn't have an appropriate prescription plan since I retired, even though the one I had was through them-which is BCBS Federal btw. Not a single soul there has a clue.

  7. My mother-in-law had a knack for growing African violets. She gave me so many cuttings to get some started. It never worked.

  8. Beautiful violets ... all but one of mine have died. I've been resisting buying new ones, but maybe I should give in
