This top is all together and now I need to purchase some flannel for the backing! Hard to picture cozying up in front of the fireplace this Christmas under it while the heat wave has us in its grip! lol Jelly Roll Twist pattern, 60" x 70" .
I cut out more pieces for another few blocks; it's working out nicely to add one block a day at least.
Lena is still very suspicious of the house--she thinks the dog is lurking somewhere but she did go outside today and back in on her own when we got the afternoon storms roll through.
Hooray for Lena!
ReplyDeleteYeah, flannel in this heat... No thank you.
Poor Lena. Her instincts serve her well but it must be a miserable time for her with all the lingering doggy scent.
ReplyDeleteThe quilts look good. It's hot here too. Mid 90's. I wish I had the energy to make use of all this indoor time but all I want right now is a nap.
The new blocks are so fun! Very glad Lena came back in like she should during storm-time. Poor thing! -Marsel
ReplyDeleteI really like those new squares but I can't imagine flannel right now. We made it to Spokane today, clear across the country from you! It's hot but not humid so is quite a relief.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that Lena came back on her own. As time goes by, she will realize that that evil dog (HA) is gone.
Blessings,
Betsy
