Here are the six sweaters that I have knit using the Sea Haven sweater pattern. I used a DK yarn from Drops, Merino Cotton.
And I ordered some red yarn to knit in time for Christmas!
This is what Florida calls a Bleeding Heart vine. it is very pretty and blooms all summer until a frost kills it for the winter. This is in the same family as the very tall plant I posted the other day.
It is hard to see that they are in the same family since the flowers are different, and the leaves are different and the stalk/vine structure is different
but no one asked me how to group plants!!! lol
What a fun picture of your sweaters (and thank you for putting them in rainbow order)! Beautiful flowers, also. -Marsel
ReplyDeleteA rainbow of sweaters! It's great when you find a pattern that fits and is fun to knit.
ReplyDeleteA perfect parade!!! Now all you need are pink and purple!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say that it looks like a rainbow of sweaters but both Marsel and Debbie beat me to it! I love it. It's kind of like my dresses. I found a pattern that I love and I just make it in different colors. :-)

ReplyDeleteWow! Your sweaters and flowers are awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteI just love your sweaters!! Great color choices and the pattern is perfect. A nice way to update your wardrobe, for sure!! xo
ReplyDeleteWow! So many colors. Must have been a nice pattern to knit up since you made so many. I've been making a scarf with Drops wool that someone gave me years ago but was very disappointed to find it split in many places so I had to cut and retie more than once. The bleeding heart looks like a plant we just bought a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't really understand what the guy called it in Arabic and had yet to try and identify it, but the bees were loving it and that's what I was looking for since it's pollinator season here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little rainbow of sweaters!
ReplyDeleteBotany is a fascinating field but I do wonder about how they categorize things sometimes...
