A TRIP

Yesterday, we were loaded up and headed north-goodbye for a bit to our Florida!
And hello to north east Georgia to see my daughter and family!  It's been just over 2 years since we made the 8 hour drive!
It is exciting to see the first glimpses of Atlanta,
but the winding traffic lanes full of vehicles becomes a lot more nerve-grinding instead of fun very quickly!
We made it safely and are now settled in the the renovated basement/addition to daughter's home which now includes an apartment for guests!
And yes, Lena made her first    L   O   N   G  trip with us!
She did great!
And there are birds outside the window for her to enjoy and flowers for me to learn--she has hellebores!

  1. Hooray for Lena!! There is never a good time to get through Atlanta. The middle of the night worked for a while, but now it's fairly crowded, too.

  3. I'm impressed that Lena made the trip so well. I'm just now recovering from spending 2 hours with Pup in rush hour DC Beltway traffic tonight and it was not pretty. I was so tempted to toss her out the window at one point....lol.

  6. A guest apartment! That’s so wonderful. I’m glad Lena made the trip and did well. I’ve never been to Georgia. Maybe someday. We’ll be home tomorrow and I’m going to miss the “girl talks” I’ve had with Piper. Have fun!
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy
