One of the charms on point tops were loaded on the frame for quilting. I will tackle that today with a meander pattern.
I cut up several more fat quarters into layer cakes;
then cut two long strips from one side of the 10" piece,
and then two shorter pieces from the remaining piece.
These cuts yield this pile of pieces to sew up
which happens very quickly when I chair sew!
And it was fun to throw them up on the design wall.
I think it will be fun to cut them up with other fabrics and rearrange the pieces so there is less order--that is one of the things that is so interesting about quilting--just a little change can produce a block that hardly looks related!
Very pretty and pleasing to the eye! -Marsel
ReplyDeleteI love that new top you're working on. I made one similar with some fall batiks a long while ago and it was a lot of fun to work on. The fabrics you are using on yours are really pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour design wall has always impressed me.
ReplyDeleteAwesome use of charms. I love them on point, and also love them framed.
ReplyDeleteThose squares are going to make a very fun quilt!! Keep us posted! xo
ReplyDeleteLove the poppies on the last one. You have a great imagination my friend. I would never think to do many of the designs you make.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,

Love it! That's a pattern I will have to add to the queue!
