See the white orbs in the middle of this picture?
Yeah, right in the middle-it is a Sandhill Crane nest with two eggs in it!
She is just to the left in the dry area of the swamp. Both parents take turns on the nest and will sit for about 30 days until the two eggs hatch! We have been feeding them corn in our back yard as usual but there is only one coming at a time, which is why we knew they were nesting! I will keep you updated on the saga!
