Matthew, Ashley and Will came for a visit......Will is train crazy still so we gave him a treat and walked the rails by my parents' place. He was in train heaven! He just didn't want to go back to the house with us! It was a great experience for him. Unfortunately, we waited for hours at the house for a train to go by so he could wave but we didn't see a single one. There used to be so many on the weekend; not any more.
After a good dinner together and a rousing game of cards which Matthew won, Dad and Mom had to say goodbyes; they are leaving for home in NY this week.

Trains are a big deal to the little guys, aren't they? I would have thought in the year 2015 it would be space things and rockets but it's the old fashioned trains that my grandson can't get enough of.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwww...little Will is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a little person anymore, but I am still absolutely fascinated by trains.
He needs a little black suit and a guitar... because you're mine... I walk the line, lol!
ReplyDeleteMy grandsons both love trains too!
ReplyDeleteSo sad when we have to say goodbye. It's fantastic that your parents spend winter with you while still maintaining their independence.
