My friend Mary drove with me to the dermatologist for a check on a 'spot' that was funny on my arm. The doctor ended up removing three spots that he deemed suspicious! I will know the results in a week or two. Isn't the Oleander bush stunning! It was so large and covered in RED flowers!
My arm, ankle and ear look like this. I have to change the bandages each day. I can bathe and then immediately cover them again. That's doable!
Mary and I just happened to check out Michael's which is very near the doctor's office; I bought several yards of this background fabric. Soon they will be putting out their haul from the JoAnns stores.
When I got home, there was a new truck in the driveway--no not Bill's, it is my oldest grandchild, David! He just finished college and is on a visit family trip until he has to knuckle under to being a full-time working man!
Oh, it is wonderful to have all 6'5" of him here for a few weeks!
How nice to have a special visitor. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful visit!
ReplyDeleteI have those exams every year too, so does my sister. Our Dad and a brother had melanoma so we're checked thoroughly. Melanie has had several big spots removed, at least 10, but I've done okay so far. Since my sunburns as a child, I've avoided being in the direct sun very much.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your grandson is visiting. You two would fit right in with us and our kids. We all love LOTR! Have a wonderful time.
Blessings,
Betsy
I was just fussing with Daughter about a spot she has on her neck. She needs to get it checked. She’s got these two boys to take care of for a lot of years ahead of her.
ReplyDeleteLovely progress on all your projects. And how wonderful for a visit with family.
ReplyDeleteHow great to have your David visiting!! Enjoy him and I hope the biopsies come back okay!!
ReplyDeleteHey, I know that truck! :) I miss my guy but I am so glad he can spend time with all of you. Give him a hug (or a few hugs) from me! -Marsel
