This is what I will be working on today. By the time I had loaded it and quilted a row or two on Saturday, I was done being up!
It waits for me, though!
And see that empty design wall behind it! Yikes, I need to get going on some new ideas and fill it up! I have plenty of fabric but need to come up with some ideas! I'm usually overflowing with plans upon plans but my brain is drawing a blank at present.
I will spend some time looking through the UFO pile
and the pattern pile for inspiration!
I'm also itching to start work on this piece of Cypress!
I cut it out of the middle of this crotch piece because I wanted a sweet little bowl without complications!
I hope it turns out that way!
The whole work shop has been cleaned, swept and even dusted out the cobwebs and I am ready to go and make a new mess!
Nice projects lined up - just waiting for you!!
ReplyDeleteIt’s the time of year for starting new things isn’t it? I just wish I’d managed to have finished some old things first…lol.
ReplyDeleteI am very curious how cypress looks all "done up". Is it very soft. In my mind's eye it would be.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great one to quilt! So pretty! and right?? Maybe its the end of the year so your brain is drained and it will fill up overnight!
ReplyDeleteGoodness!! My brain goes a little nuts just looking at all you do!! LOL Sometimes I wish I was more creative, but my brain isn't made that way I guess. Cheers to more projects and a great 2026!! I look forward to seeing your finished cypress bowl with complications! xo
ReplyDeleteYou are one busy lady!
ReplyDeleteAh, the promise and excitement of blank space.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun, sounds like a lot, but you will get through it! Hope you have a happy New Years!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I've just started a new crochet wheelchair blanket and of course have another pair of socks going for my on the go project. It's good to be home but we're missing our kids we left behind.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
