THINGS THAT DELIGHT

Binding happened!
I have the quilt all ready to hand in now to my QOV group!
67" x 76"
I played around with this idea but broke the bottom point off when I got too thin!  It is going to be partially painted--in case you miss what this is at this stage, it is a snowman ornament that has an ice sickle at the bottom.  I went out back and cut a branch from one of the many live oaks
so there are plenty off wood to perfect my 'idea'!
Don't you love to come home
to your home all lit up during Christmas season?

  1. Some lucky person is going to love that quilt! I do see a snowman in the wood. How clever. I rarely go out at night but when we do go to drive around and look at the lights at night we leave ours on so I can see them from a distance. I’m planning on doing it on my birthday next week as the Clydesdale are coming to do their holiday beer run that night.

  2. Your QOV turned out beautiful! Many thanks for supporting our veterans. I'm sure you'll figure out the icicle and snowman! :) Our neighbor moved out and the house is empty and yes! I miss their Christmas lights. :)

  3. We go into Sarnia a couple times of week after work... and it's so nice to drive home (about 40 minutes) in the dark looking at everyone's Christmas lights.
