I'm still working along on this afghan; I bought more yarn to make it larger so I have been making a pile of blocks and then I add a row. I always crochet the lengthwise rows together and then do the width ones last. I don't think it matters but it is my routine! As soon as I laid it down on the floor to check the size so far, Lena had to come and check it out! lol
Today, I have to go in for some x-rays so the rheumatologist will have the results for my appointment next week.
Too much fun, I must admit!
Bill will drop me off so I have a skein of yarn and my hook so I can make some more of the solid granny square blocks while I wait for him to pick me up again; with yarn in my hands, I can be very patient! No wonder it keeps my blood pressure down!
Your blanket colors remind me of sea glass. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteClearly you are making a new blankie for Lena! It matches her so well!
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying the resurrected knitting right now. Love your progress and the runners.
ReplyDeleteWow...it's really grown! Waiting room knitting is the best. It's one thing I really miss about Dad. I used to get so much done waiting for his doctor's appointments.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty colors and Lena does seem to appreciate it. I always take either knitting or crochet with me to appointments. Not only do I get a lot done, it usually is a conversation starter with someone. One I ended up making dishcloths for all of the nurses in the office! They told me their preferred colors and I delivered them a couple of weeks later.
ReplyDeletePraying that all goes well at your appointment.
Blessings and love,
Betsy
Lovely scene: crafting, cat, fireplace...
ReplyDeleteAre you sure it is you that is working on the squares, not Lena?! Either way, great progress! Hope you get the xray results soon xx
ReplyDeleteYour kitty is very helpful to hold it down for you! LOL. Love the cozy scene!
