Mom has started another afghan for a great-grandchild--she is working to make one for each of them! (15)
The socks for my recovering brother-in-law are finished! Yippee!
I immediately made a dishcloth to clear my yarn palate! lol
And I pulled out my T-shirt knitting--I completed the body and am now doing the fun lacy ripple accent on the hem area! Unfortunately, this is in black so it is daytime knitting only!
The dishcloths will have to satisfy the yarn needs in the evening!
We've done another doctor appointment and some chores and then reward ourselves with some chocolate and then time with our feet up and yarn in our hands!
A nice rhythm! -Marsel
ReplyDeleteYou're making good use of your time! My great grandmother made an afghan for each of us back in her day. Though they've been lost in time, I can still see each of them. Mine was purple. My middle sister's was blue and my youngest sister's was a very pretty variegated brown and green. My mom's was orange and I can still see her napping under it on the couch when I came in from school. I love how a little yarn makes such big memories.
ReplyDeleteYou've both kept very busy! As a kid I remember my grandmother saying she would knit anything for me as long as it wasn't black. Now I understand completely. Black binding only gets sewn in daylight. LOL
ReplyDeleteSocks look great! I hope BIL is recovering well!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects and made extra sweet with your yarning companion!! Thanks for the update!! xo
