STUDIO RESULTS

The big winner is the completed panel.
See why I fell in love with this border?!
I finished the quilting on the small for-me panel
and just need to get the binding on it!
I added a few more string blocks.
And loaded the girl's Quilt for Kids onto the frame!

  2. Wow! Yes - that is a gorgeous border and really elevates a simple design into something extra special. Love the string blocks too of course.

  3. Great top, and your star is beautiful. Enjoy sewing on the binding! I didn't like doing it at all on my first few quilts, but nowadays I actually enjoy sewing on the binding—it brings the project to such a peaceful close... and I have to say, it also has something to do with the daylight; I need good light to sew, and there was plenty of sunshine during my recent sewing projects.
    Warm regards, Viola.
    Happy sewing!

  5. Your sewing room has been busy! That border finished the panel perfectly. It looks so intricate, I don't think my feeble brain could have figured it out at all. The one on the frame is really pretty and delicate looking. So much fun! I can imagine it's getting pretty warm down there. We have rain all day again today. Just wishing I was sitting in the camper listening it it on the roof while I read a good book or knit/crochet.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  6. You are amazing! I don't know how you do so many quilts, etc....when do you take time to eat and sleep? The patriotic themes are wonderful. Love the eagle one!!! Oh, we didn't get any rain last night after all. More is expected tonight, but we will wait and see. It always seems to bypass us for some reason. It's just crazy!!! Next week looks more promising, but we shall see. Take care my friend. Have a blessed Memorial Day weekend.
