I finished the knitting on the Seychelles She'll and since it is beautiful out, we got it right outside to block and dry!
Lace is so much prettier when it gets blocked, I know this but is a great surprise every time!
(I didn't end the top edge according to directions - I didn't like the beads up there.)

ReplyDeleteI did not like the top either and improvised mine. I think a light color shows off the design better.
It really is a brilliant pattern isn't it? No one can believe how simple a pattern it is. It's a very painless project for such a beautiful outcome.
lovely shawl - and beautiful "sea" colour! and I don't like beads along my neck either - they always feel cold and somehow "alien", I think!
