Goodbye until later; see you in the winter!
My nieces came to send me off with love, too.
The sky reflected my emotions beautifully.
I had several delays and lots of knitting time. The socks for my grand daughter were finished and
so were we....we didn't get home until 3:30 am.
I had a bit of recuperation necessary to be my old self.
Love the socks! I must be good to be home again and nice to know you'll be seeing the family again in just a few months.

ReplyDeleteAs much as you will miss your family, isn't it nice to be back among all of your things and sleep in your own bed? I always miss the routine of daily life when we travel.
Welcome home! Traveling is always tiring, but 3:30 a.m. is beyond awful! Glad you had a good visit, made it home safely, and hopefully you are giving yourself time to recuperate the next couple of weeks!
