The binding is added to the Contessa quilt
and it has also been washed and dried!

I used a feather panto in white thread; it crinkles so wonderfully!
The backing is dragonflies and the blue thread in the bobbin
works prettily with the fabric.
I had to go to the doctor's for a referral appointment so I can be sent to a rheumatologist. When I came out from there, I had a text to go and pick up my new glasses! I went even though it felt like a long time out and about but I knew I would be glad I had gone when I could stay home all day today!
A day at home this time of year is rare. Enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteI'm with you -- I'd stay home most of the time as I am happily doing whatever I want. I'm not much of a shopper so that doesn't call my name. Lovely quilt finish.
