I found a pretty braid-ish stitch to join my new solid granny squares.
It works up very easily and looks good on the front
and back I am using a variegated skein from the stash to join instead of choosing one color to be dominant.
Just as I readied for a photo,
Lena decided to bathe her hinder parts...
As soon as I was done,
she lay down in a much more ladylike pose!
I will be going back to Hobby Lobby in a few weeks
and will be buying two more skeins of each of the mist (grey)
and the ivory to make blanket in a good snuggly size.
Very pretty — I like the restful, calming palette. Good to see that Lena is fulfilling her feline duties…! -Marsel
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, I always hated joining squares because I never knew what stitch to use. That one looks nice. And all of the other projects you've finished or are working on are just wonderful. It's always a wonderful show of talent on your blog. Many wishes for a wonderful 2026, may you gain more peace each day.
ReplyDeleteNice! I'm not much of a crochet person but I have to say when I put my Audun squares together the process was oddly enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteLena knows what she's doing...
