SOCKS ON SUNDAY

Why do I usually post socks on Sundays?
Because that is what I knit on the way to church each week during our 35-40 minute drive!  I finished this pair for my daughter and I will be mailing them out on Monday.
SockEase yarn and 2.5mm needles over 64 stitches,
toe-up with a gusset heel and a 2 x 2 rib.

Enjoy the longest day of the year today!!!

  1. After languishing in their project bag for several years now, it’s so fun to see them complete and I’m excited to wear them! Thank you! -Marsel

  2. Pretty colors! Car knitting is the best. I keep saying I should just go out and sit in the car so I can get things finished. I can see so much better out there. It would have to be on a cool day, of course. Sitting in a car now would be murder.

  5. Very pretty socks. I like to knit on longer car trips too. Do you always knit toe up instead of cuff down? I've never tried it. But I probably have a half dozen skeins of sock yarn waiting for their turn!

  6. Lucky Marsel. Those are some very happy socks. I always knit in the car too and in Sunday school so I can concentrate better on the lesson. If my hands are occupied my mind focus's. It's been that way since my stroke.
    Blessings and hugs,
