The pattern works out well in worsted weight yarn
with the same size needles for manly adult mitts!
Lena approved my project just before it was lights out time!
My dad did a fitting and he can't wait to wear them
because waking up to 28* is hard on plants, cats and people!!!
Nice-looking mitts. Lena looks sleepy and/or wistful in that photo
ReplyDeleteThose are so handsome, I would say pretty, but that might offend the recipient? Ah 28, how balmy that must feel right now. We are supposed to get up to 40 by next week!!! I won't even have to wear a jacket!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely still mitt weather!
ReplyDeleteBrrrr....it sure is mitt weather. I've got two pairs of socks on, a knit vest and a shawl on this morning. Thank goodness the sun is just starting to shine on the house. We may survive. Heat pumps stink in temps like these.
ReplyDeleteNice looking mitts! Mine are (finally) finished and now it's too cold for fingerless mitts - lol. Can't believe how cold you are down South!
ReplyDeletePS Love the vest you showed the other day - very cheerful and fun.
Gosh they look so very nice. Worsted gives such nice stitch definition. We are warming to 8 degrees today. Yippee
ReplyDeleteGlad they worked out well! I love mine and I’m sure Gramp will, too!
