Uninvited Guest

Jack Frost needs a new home!  His visits here are no longer welcome!
The vest front drew in too much along the garter front 'band' and so I ripped it all out.
When a friend saw the knitting, she said she loved the shirring along the middle.
It's not supposed to be shirring, said I.  Well, maybe it will block out?
No, it's acrylic-it will look just as it does now....
RIPPIT!
It is a nice knit and now I can do it all again!

  1. Oh NO!!! I am so glad you don't mind a reknit! Also the haze with that yarn would be hard for me to unravel without knotting or breaking. GOOD JOB

  2. Frogging is one of my least favorite parts of knitting. I hope you find a solution.

  3. Oh, dear....it's why I hate garment knitting. It never plays fair.

  4. We have had frost three days in a row, our grass is already brown. But I have to say I love the chilly temps, they are good for a change.

  5. Grandpa would make a smart-aleck comment about getting a lot of mileage from that yarn!

SOME MORE BABY HATS

I added to the baby hat pile and even changed up the pattern with the finer yarn.  The one on the far left is really a pink;  I worked on it...
