I made the backing for the recent r/w/b quilt and cut the batting . Next I pieced a backing for last year's Shop Hop quilt and cut the batting for that, too and added both to the pile
for quilting at the frame.
I guess I need to do a lot of machine quilting but seeing the design wall empty makes me itch for some piecing!
I like to cut for and piece a new quilt best!!!
Look at you go! I hope this means you're feeling better. I noticed that my warping board was empty this morning and it made me twitchy. I had to go start something.

ReplyDeleteI have a framed cross-stitched piece on my wall that says Happy hands, happy heart" ... it's nice knowing that we always have something to soothe our souls. Happy stitching, cutting and piecing. And whatever else you get up to.

Boy I agree with you on piecing is my first love. I can't say I like the cutting but it is part of the deal. I've been focusing on getting my tops quilted and have made good progress. Take care and happy stitching.
