After shedding our wedding day duds,
we enjoyed several hours at the beach!
I enjoyed finishing the first coral beach sock. (Yarnalia Stormy in the Cherry Blossom colorway but I like my name better)
The ocean was turbulent--
wonderful to relax to the rhythm of the surf.
The colors of my latest blanket in Mandala yarn perfectly matched the colors of the sea and sky
especially as the day drew to a close.
You can see that the crowds were not a problem for us!
What a beautiful day we enjoyed together!
What a wonderful way to celebrate your special day! Love and hugs — Marsel

ReplyDeleteHappy 50th anniversary! And you can wear your wedding dress!! Call me impressed. Our 50th is next spring but my wedding dress is NOT going to fit. LOL Enjoying the beach sounds like a lovely relaxing way to spend the day.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Great photos and projects.
ReplyDeleteAs you deserved!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! I loved your photos and wish you many more blessings in the years ahead! Congratulations on such a wonderful milestone!!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Look at you fitting into that dress! You made a beautiful bride then and now. My wedding dress was a red gingham gown with a white apron that my mom made for me. I turned it into a Raggedy Ann costume and wore it for Halloween for ages...lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy, Happy Anniversary! What a wonderful milestone. I love that you can still wear your dress. I sure wouldn't be able to. Your projects are wonderful and there is no better place to celebrate than at the beach.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
