Chirp Chirp!

One of the cats was sitting and staring the scallop shell on the wall of the house in the pool area.
We have learned to check out her 'stares' as she alerts us to critters.
I shooed her away and carefully pulled the shell away to reveal one of our *tree frogs!
He was a fine fellow!
I carefully put the shell back over him and left him in peace!
He will tell his adventure tonight!

*Green Treefrog Hyla cinerea  and here is a link to hear his chirp-

  2. He's hangin' in there!!! LOL

They are so cute. We used to see a lot of them around our house, but we don't anymore. I'm sure that has something to say about the state of our environment. :-(

  3. Isn't he adorable! Our kitties eat the creek frogs by the bucket. It's a wonder we have any left.

  4. he is so perfectly smooth that he nearly looks artificial! I do hope that the cat doesn't eat our frogs and small lizards that live in our stone walls - so far she's been decimating mice and shrews by the dozen here... nearly every morning I have a "present" on the door mat....
