Some more baby hats are being made--using two colors and the helex method of color changing. They go pretty quickly.
#3 needles, baby yarn, 66 sts.
All around the house Bill placed blankets to protect against the frost threat! The sun came up at 38* so I am hoping it didn't actually hit 32* or below! The yard will remain blanketed until tomorrow morning because tonight should be the last night of the threat of frost. Each day it is sunny with a high of 67*
so it promises to be another nice day.
Cute hat. Hope you are healing well. 25 here this morning!
ReplyDeleteHat looks cute!
ReplyDeleteI woke up to a thick blanket (3 inches) of snow this morning, so I think the gardens are well and truly done!
That's a sweet little hat. Are you feeling better. I have some sort of bug but it will go away eventually.
ReplyDeleteWe've been in the 12F range for days now in the mornings. I'm not ready for winter, that's for sure but I guess there isn't any choice. It will be here whether we want it or not.
I hope your plants were all saved with the blankets.
Blessings,
Betsy
How conscientious of your husband!
ReplyDeleteIt's been really cold here at night too. In the 20's which is odd considering we had such a warm fall. I just noticed that my camellia was blooming in a few spots. Poor thing. It never knows what season it is.
ReplyDeleteI have no reason for my lack of progress on anything! Other than just dog tired after a weekend of freezing temps outside. LOL Love using the Helix method to make striped hats.
ReplyDeleteCute hat! Today was absolutely gorgeous here with clear, Robin egg blue sky and warmish temperatures.
ReplyDeleteOh how clever to use round needles! I tried it once and didn't get anywhere............ knitting is obviously not my forte, lol! xx
