Color and any type of creative activity is definitely a mood booster. Since my art date friend moved away some years ago, I've not been drawing or painting like I used to. I've always loved drawing.
I need one of those. I walk past my watercolor paints everyday feeling guilty about not using them but I just don't have the energy to come up with anything original these days. I don't want to design. I just want to paint.
Your Proverb's quote caught my eye...one of my favourites so I just had a nice catch up of your posts. Do hope you continue to feel better. How great to visit shops with a good buddy. I love that you try your hand at lovely painting as well as quilting. Our hobbies are our balm in life.
Is this like a paint by number kind of book, or do you figure out the colors on your own? I've never learned to paint and have always wanted to. That looks like a good way to learn. Do you get them on Amazon?
Thanks for taking the time to let me know you stopped by to read my blog! If you can't get the blog to accept a comment-email me! If you don't have a blog yourself, use my email so I can then email you back-I love to respond to those who leave comments! Thanks!
Looks like fun! Hope you are feeling better each day.
ReplyDeleteOh - what a great idea - I will have to look for something like that! I would help me gain some practice!
