National Quilt Day

I spent quite a bit of time in the sewing room today, finishing this quilt for my neighbor.  (She did the piecing.)
I hope you took some time piecing, cutting, perusing or thinking about quilts today!

  1. Hmmm...I enjoyed looking at this quilt, does that count?! Beautiful quilting, by the way.

  2. I didn't know it was National Quilt Day but then, I'm not national! :-)

Even if it had been International Quilt Day I still wouldn't have had time with tutoring at Knitting Guild and entertaining family. But you'll be pleased to know that I made up for it today (Sunday) and took time to post about it.

  3. I didn't even know that there is a national quilt day - but as it happens I did some piecing earlier today:)) lucky me - even though it was more by accident than by design!|I wish I could send over the finished top for quilting - but I guess I have to do it myself after all.....

  4. I have a question on your quilting machine. Do you have to guide it to make those patterns or does it come with a program or templates that make it easier? If you are doing all of those by hand-guiding it, you are seriously very good at this.
