Sock Therapy

New doctor, new meds--comfort knitting to the rescue!

I have three shawls on the needles;  all are KAL's and instead I knit socks.
Stress isn't conducive to intricate knitting.  I am not up to ripping out this time.
What do you knit when you need to zone?

  1. Those are spectacular!!!! I knit socks when I need to zone but really for me it's spinning that does the trick-spindle or wheel.

  2. Those are AWESOME socks!!!

For stress free knitting ---- plain socks or a dishcloth. Maybe a simple hat.

But, then that is pretty much ALL my knitting. LOL

Hope the new meds/new dr. are just what the dr. ordered and you are feeling better soon!

  4. Love your socks, they match so well, one could think they were dyed after being knit!

Hope your new meds help you feel better!

  7. the colours are gorgeous - and I do hope that the new meds work well - eventually! for me it depends on the problem: if I have a bad headache I can't concentrate, so I'd probably either spin default or knit - socks:) if I feel jittery and "upset" I'd try to knit something that needs a lot of attention - to focus on something different usually helps me... but no matter what's wrong - it usually helps me to work on something textile!

  8. NICE socks!!! Spinning sooths my nerves the best but socks are right up there too. I'm addicted to knitting socks.

  9. I'd like to knit socks or a hat, but all my knitting time is used up in joining blanket strips together! Another three coming in a post very soon!
