Blooming

This is the Cereus plant bloom.  You can see how it got the common name of Dutchman's Pipe.
The stem and flower are about 10-12" in size.
The bloom itself is about 5".
What an amazing flower to behold!  What a creative Creator!
I am creating a pretty cool pattern but the little bit of ribbing does nothing to stop the 'curl' of the stockinette.  I will have to block it to near death but I love the play of colors!
One repeat done, on to the next!

  1. I'm guessing there is someone along University Blvd. that has a night-blooming Cereus. You can smell the wonderful fragrance all the way out in the road. But, I've only had the pleasure maybe 3 or 4 times in 30 years.

Love the color blend on your knitting.
