Black 'n Beauty

I am on cast on number two...the hermione I thought would look good, doesn't.  I complete waste of time.
I am doing my favorite stripe up the outside of the foot-the funky looking area on the viewer's left in an open lattice.
It looks lacey when you put it on.
Knitting happy now.
is doing its thing....just beautiful to see it out back!
(It's also medicinal, so let me know if you have ringworm!)

  1. That yarn turned out nicely. As for that plant, wow, that's a new one for me. I've never seen anything like it. I used to have ringworm all the time when I was teaching. I used to have colds all the time too. My body must be happy I'm retired. I know I am!

  2. Black is so un-fun to work with, but that is going to be such a snazzy pair of socks! Can't wait to see them.

  3. The only thing I love more than white lace is black lace - those socks will be beautiful!

That's a really neat flower! I've never heard of it (of course, these last couple of years of gardening have shown me that I've never heard of a lot of plants!)

  4. Funny you should mention it .............Steve just HAD a bout of ringworm. I have NO idea how he got it. It was on his left hand right around the thumb.

Hermione is supposed to look good in EVERY yarn, but I found it didn't look good with the one I was using either. Glad you found a pattern you like.
