I must say, I am thoroughly enjoying this knit! The yarn is a delight (new superwash Chroma) and the pattern is clear and easy to follow!
Here's a first in my lifetime-I went in for a manicure and some acrylic/gel polish nails! I have to wear polish to cover up the discolorations MS has given me and I just can't keep up with the maintenance-I was very interested in the process and grateful for the quiet hour of pampering. Who says you are too old to try something new?!
The pattern texture is interesting. I bet it's fun to knit.
ReplyDeleteMy nails are in horrible shape - thin, flaking, cracking, and deep vertical ridges and lines. I doubt a manicure would help.
Nothing like a French manicure to make a woman feel beautified!! Nice!
ReplyDeleteThe sock AND the mani look great! I always feel so FANCY when I get a manicure. LOL
ReplyDeleteLovely nails. I am a terrible nail biter, so I always love getting acrylics done.
ReplyDeleteI love the sock so far and the pattern! your nails look great!
ReplyDeleteIt's been ages since I had my nails done. It is a nice feeling to look down and see them so pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour nails look just amazing. I have yet to find a manicure shop I like in this area. I love your sock progress.
ReplyDeleteYour nails look great...and your knitting too! I stopped getting manicures years ago, but now I'm tempted - lol.
ReplyDeleteI so love to have gel nails. I find I cant keep up with the cost of having them done all the time. I wish I could afford to always get them done.
