I read this yesterday, Job 7:6a
"My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle...."
Job had obviously watched a weaver to know this and apply it so aptly.

ReplyDeleteI have had a small hand loom ( I think it's a toy) since I was a child - I could never get the edges to stay straight which frustrated the perfectionist in me!
And assuming that Job is the oldest book of the Bible, at least chronologically -- just imagine the millennia of weavers that have gone before you! How fun to carry on an age-old tradition...
