Taking advantage of scrap yarn and idle hands,
I am knitting up some newborn hats for the local women's pregnancy center. I am knitting these by hand not on the knitting machine so I can do it laying down. Knitting is a very calming outlet.
I had special guests for my birthday-there is nothing like family to make your day bright! We are ALL December birthday people-it was fun ...
I love the rhythm of hand knitting baby hats. Mindless and quick for those times you need ti just sit still.
ReplyDeleteThe hat is adorable and the perfect project for scrap yarn. Continued prayers that you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteCheerful!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Yes, knitting is calming and can be done prone. I just got back from standing in line for several long hours to vote in our local election and am completely frazzled by it. I need to go lie down and knit for a while too. It gave me an awful headache.
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for you daily my dear friend. I hope you're soon back to your old self. The hat is so sweet and will be appreciated by a little one.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
That is a really nice ombre yarn. Do you knit in the round? I've been knitting flat and stitching the seam. I'm trying to use up some yarn but haven't made a big dent yet. Glad to see you are keeping busy.
