Ceilings...

I have hung a sheet in my doorway which separates the existing house from the new addition.

The sheetrock crew is working full steam ahead!

It is so nice to walk in and not see the insulated roof; they plan on having all the sheetrock up today and will do the taping and mudding starting next week.

This is the hallway to the bedrooms; see the cut out for the attic access in the hall?

  3. Won't it be wonderful when it's done!?! That sheetrock dust gets all over, even with the barriers hung! I'm living the remodle mess too. Every day.

  4. isn't it nice to think about the future, when all the dust is gone and you can use all the newly done rooms and fill them with stuff?
and I like to put my wheel into the living room every once in a while, too - it's not quite so "isolated" as the back room:))

  5. Sheetrock makes everything look better!

We didn't get dust in the house when they did our addition - I put plastic over the doorway and taped it shut. Don't know if that's practical for you, but it's worth it because that dust is hard to get rid of.

    Have fun!
