in Brioche (two passes for one row)
but I am very pleased with the results.
I knit this on #3 needles over 61 stitches
to end up with a newborn sized hat.
It is super stretchy but in a soft way.
I think I will try it in the dark/light
combination next!
(Oh, and I took my watercolor paintings to be critiqued
by my teacher and I have homework!
Also a new painting in the works.
I need someone to critique my watercolor. It is awful. I don't remember it being so hard when I was in college. Oh, well. Who doesn't need another challenge?
ReplyDeleteNice hat btw. I have never done brioche. It looks interesting.
I love the little pop of pink at the beginning of the ribbing. These hats are adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove the hat - both sides - are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteyou've been really productive!
ReplyDeletethe brioche hats will be nice and warm
I cannot master Brioche. I've taken classes twice, and still mess up when I get back to the beginning of the round. Thus, I admire your hats greatly!
ReplyDeleteBrioche seems difficult for so many. I have never tried. I love your hat finish. This is my favorite so far. I;ve done some double knitting, and enjoyed that.
ReplyDeleteThe variations just keep coming -- love this one, too! So glad you have continued with art class.
ReplyDeleteThat's such an interesting knitting technique. Is it difficult?
