The last few days, I have been knitting a little for short times and am pleased with my progress.  I find out Tuesday if I can remove the brace and resume normal (CRAFTING) activities!!!!
Even the small movements required for watercolor is therapy as far as I am concerned.  I limit the sessions to very few minutes and never beyond any twinge of discomfort.
These two beach scenes are a memory from 5 years ago with our grandsons;  one would spend hours building and driving his yellow dumptruck in the sand and the other throwing his red kickball into the waves over and over.
Lena spent a lot of time next to me on the couch....
She sighs and stretches and brings me much comfort!

  1. I hope you get some good news on the that wrist. It must be so frustrating. It's nice you have such a sweet kitty to cuddle up with. She looks so comfy. I love the paw over face pose.

  2. Lena is a very good little nurse! She probably remembers when she was broken and you took care of her!

  3. Lena is beautiful. I want to reach out and tickle her toes.

  4. Have I told you how much I love that you took Lena in. She reminds me so much of Giroux. She and Giroux totally deserve a nice warm place and meals on the regular.

    She is so adorable.

I love the sand/truck photo. Brings back memories of taking Stephen to the beach when he was young. He sure did love his trucks.

  5. Praying for great news on Tuesday. You've been through enough in the last month or so. I think your paintings are beautiful. Are you giving them to your grandsons for memories?
Lena is such a beautiful and loving kitty. We used to have a cat, Leo that looked like her. She was our son's kitty and we inherited him. He was a sweetheart too.
    Blessings and love,

We put the last screws in the second vegetable bed.   Today, Bill will give me a lesson on painting with the sprayer to get them painted so ...
