While deciding what I would begin next, I remembered this kit I bought at the Quilt Show in February.
I even knew right where it was!
It was so much fun to play with the different blocks--piecing the sailboats and the flip flops and umbrellsa are done with applique. I have it all set up but now I have to stitch the sashing to each of the blocks and then add the borders.
It will be fun to work on at Quilting Group today!
I love it! I am such a sucker for quilt kits. I've got boxes and boxes of them in the sewing room piled up on top of shelves. Dad and I bought so many I lost count. I keep telling myself I will work on them one day but I never do. If my kids would stop having babies it would help. It seems all I do anymore is make baby quilts....lol.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun one!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
ReplyDeleteNow that is one happy and fun quilt. I can almost feel the sand under my toes.

Another fun quilt! This and the sock monkeys are cheerful.
ReplyDeleteLovely things happening at your end!! Love your kit, can't wait to see the blocks. And the Apple Core, amazing! And Monkey, so cute, but I hope it doesn't get the Monkeypox! LOL
