So pleasurable to yield a tiny needle for this embroidery.
It is in an eight inch hoop for scale.
I did all of the coneflowers first, as you see.
I'm using three strands of DMC floss.
Caleb and family brought us to another island- this one they call Shark Tooth Island! It was much smaller than the other island we explored...
This is going to be such a pretty piece!
ReplyDeleteThe embroidery makes just the right texture for the flower centers. (A rabbit ate the tops off of all my coneflowers…I hope they come back and manage to bloom like this at some point this summer!)
