Another Week

What have I been doing? Knitting socks .....almost done with Abigail's second one. I am so pleased with their outcome-they look just like I wanted them to as I painted the sock blanks. Nice to have a plan be so successful! (see Dec 5 post for comparison)
Finishing up the quilt on the frame ...... (see the batting showing above the floor...this means you are getting close to finished and you get excited!)
so I can start another one.... (this is to be a Christmas gift so I will get going and finish it by Saturday!)
Bill's garden is flourishing. God watered the garden today instead of Bill-we got our first measurable rain in a month! (5/8").

Christmas shopping is 99% finished so all I need to do is inhale and exhale...............and then leave for the visit to GA next week!

(There have been many phone calls in answer to our signs about our missing Tom but I will not go again to look-it is just too hard to get disappointed all over again!

  1. It hardly seems possible that you arrive next week for Christmas!

Do you need a companion with whom to sew on the Christmas quilt binding, or will you already have it finished by then?! :)

  2. Your garden looks fantastic! I hope you are using a Gammel quilting machine, my uncle has been the manager for Gammels sewing machines in West Plains, Mo for over 30 years so it makes me proud! Merry Christmas. Nat from OK
