Pool Decking

We had a cement day around here!  They poured a slab in front of our garage to finish the whole front porch line.
It looks so nice to have it finished the rest of the way.  (The pole will be removed at our final inspection and the electrical service will be underground eventually.)
The pool area came next!  It looks so good to have the area defined around the pool!
The white forms are styrofoam, applied to the inside they make a perfect curve around the top of the pool and prevent the cement from going in the pool area-inquiring minds like to learn this kind of stuff!  They just peel it away after a few hours of the cement setting up.  Amazing!
They will be back on Monday to finish up this last area of the decking and will remove the forms on the steps, too!
Guess who arrived in time to see most of the fun-yes, the whole family is here for a week!  What a great week ahead.  The weather is going to cooperate this week , too; high 80's all week with no humidity-can  you hear the beach calling us!

  5. How exciting to see it all come together. Won't be long and you'll be splashing in the pool instead of going to the beach.

SOME MORE BABY HATS

I added to the baby hat pile and even changed up the pattern with the finer yarn.  The one on the far left is really a pink;  I worked on it...
