AN OUTING!

I was ready to get the furniture all settled in first thing yesterday morning;  Bill patiently worked the muscle for me as I arranged and rearranged to perfection!

The umbrella needs to be bolted to the concrete base so I have to be sure it is just exactly where I want it!  I haven't decided for sure yet! lol  We did end up moving the furniture 18' to the right so the umbrella can go in the back left corner--but we had to leave it for another day because we had a wedding to go to!

I finished an octopus on the way--it was a beautiful country drive for about an hour and then some.  I also started a cropped cardigan--but more on that later.

The setting was a beautiful southern farm now repurposed to a wedding/celebration venue!

 

SOCKS AND I DO'S!

The first sock is completed...so soft and pretty-

it will make a great gift when paired!

We attended a wedding yesterday-the tropical breeze was a delight to give relief from the warm temps

 but no thunder storms built to ruin the day!

The wedding was held at a vineyard only 3 1/2 miles from our home-we didn't know it existed!  What a beautiful reception hall.  The cake was so very pretty!

And the cupcakes were pretty amazing, too!

This was only one of the many fields of grapes.

It was a wonderful afternoon!

A Wedding in the Family!

We started the day with a birthday celebration for Caleb-meeting him at his favorite restaurant for lunch.

 Then we went back to Caleb and Cassandra's to change into our wedding clothes and headed to the ocean for a wedding!

 My two newest grand children.......soon now!  (On a side note, all three of my sons will become fathers in 2012-what a blessing.)

 We went to a lovely seafood restaurant after the ceremony, The Nippers, and enjoyed the good food and laughter of each other's company.

Back at Matthew and Ashley's apartment, we enjoyed the cutting of their cake.

And this couple enjoyed their first bites!

What a day we shared!         (Big brother, Jared and his wife, Krystle and daughter, Aria could not make it out for this ceremony but extended family and friends will be at the BIG ceremony that will follow later next year!)
