Sandhill Crane Visit


I poured a bunch of seed out under the birdfeeder on Saturday.
Today, we had an early morning visit.



Aren't they beautiful?



I tried a video but I apologize for the shakiness........early morning low blood sugar is my guess!

    I've been meaning to tell you that these crane pictures are wonderful!!

    I love giant birds!!

    In fact, this fall we'll be in Colorado and we're making a detour to spend a day at a place where cranes stop during their migration. We only rarely see sandhill cranes in NH....and I've never seen more than one at a time.

    Thanks for taking the pictures!! These birds are awesome!!
